Gift card bracelet.

Lots of crafty things have been going on here; I just get too lazy to take and post pictures. I made this bracelet for the birthday of a coffee loving friend, out of a Starbucks card. I cut the card into squares, then rounded them with my Dremel. I used the Dremel to drill holes in each piece also. Then I strung the bracelet using a piece of gold jewelry wire, I'm including a matching Starbucks gift card with the bracelet.

What a creative (and well-executed) idea! Does it close with a clasp, or slip on like a bangle?
I can no longer remember all the degrees of separation that led me to your blog, but I check in from time to time and am always inspired by what I see. Keep up the beautiful work!

That's a great idea! I've often thought gift cards were too interesting to trash once they were used, but I never would have thought of this. And it looks designed, not repurposed, which I think is great.

(Saw you in the Creative Mom shownotes...)

I see very old dates on the comments so I'm not sure if you will respond bit I was wondering what you used to get the shape of the credit card pieces in the bracelet. I have alot of old gift cards that my mom had in a box and I would love to try to do something with them especially since she has passed. I can't seem to find a hole punch that cuts thru them.
