Fabric Flowers

Blair, over at Wise Craft had a tutorial on making these flowers. This was my second one, the first Meg took and wore to work in her hair. I'm still working on getting it to look like I want it to, I think I need to use sturdier fabric, this one is made from an old silk tie, and is unraveling and a little too floppy.

I Love Beach Mats!

I pick these up at the Dollar Tree and find more uses for them.
I have an old dresser that my mom gave me and I really like it, but the top is kind of messed up. Instead of having it refinished I made a grass mat top for it. I carefully cut the mat to size, (it unravels easily,) then hot glued bias tape to the edges!
