money book

I made this for Jessica's, "personal shower.' it has 50 one dollar bills in it that are hot glued on one end and can be torn out just like a notepad. It was pretty simple and fun to make and was a big hit.I got the idea from the book, "A Gift for Giving" by Donna Lang

This is a super-cute gift idea! Wow! I think I'll delight my niece with something like this at Christmas - thanks for the inspiration!

...and I found you through Tip Junkie today (and voted for you, too!)

This is an absolutely brilliant idea and the timing couldn't be more perfect. My nephew is the most impossible boy (soon to be 12 year old) to buy for and I hate giving him cash or a gift card because that's so ... boring.

Love it.
Thanks!

This is such a great idea. Do you have to use any special kind of glue or do it a particular way to make them tear out cleanly?

Wowza! How awesome is that!

I'd like to make this for my mother in law for her retirement. Can you share how the ends are glued? Just stack them all and run a line of glue along the edge? Thanks - alanandchandie@gmail.com

So cute! How was this glued? Can you give some specifics? I'd hate to screw up actual money. =) Thanks.
